(Matthew 24: 37-42) 37But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 42Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
I want to pay close attention to verse 39. (Matthew 24:39) 39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Who did the flood take away? The wicked. The same water used to destroy the world caused the Ark to float. Peter declares this water saved Noah and His family and uses it as an analogy how that Water Baptism saves us now who have been baptized in Jesus Name. ( 1 Peter 3:20-21).
The one taken is not the Child of God but the wicked. The one left grinding is not the wicked but the Child of God. So many read this verse of scripture and will read a verse or 2 but never read the whole chapter in context. Jesus said as it was in Noah’s day so shall also be the coming of the Son of man. Did you see that as it was in the days of Noah so shall also be the coming of the son of man.
When Jesus comes the wicked will be judged and the righteous preserved. At the separating of the wheat and the tares the bible declares that the wicked will be gathered first and and gathered into bundles to the thrown into the fire but the wheat will be gathered into God’s Barn.
( Matthew 13: 30) 30Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
So many have said Brother do you want to be left behind. My response is Yes, Yes, Yes and emphatically Yes. The one taken will be thrown into the lake of fire but the one remaining will be preserved and gathered into God’s Kingdom.
Again I hope you our readers understand I am not posting in a spirit of anger or malice or using the word of God as a club but to present the truth. We are living in the days Jesus spoke of. As judgement was swift and came upon an unbelieving world in Noah’s day. So also shall the Judgement of God come on this unexpecting unbelieving world and the judgement of God will cause the wicked to become ashes (Malachai 4:3) and will bring about the establishing of the Kingdom of God here on earth.
There is hope. Jesus said except a man be born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God. Jesus also said except a man be born of water and Spirit he cannot enter the Kingdom of God(John 3:1-5).
(Acts 2:38 ) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Obey God today. Jesus is coming soon.
In Jesus Name,
Bro. Josh Sparks.
